Sheffield councillors are heading out of the Town Hall to engage with communities about important decisions.
Members of the new Labour administration will hold meetings in all seven community assembly districts and answer questions from the public.
Council leader Coun Julie Dore said: “I hope that by taking the cabinet out into the community, more people will be able to come and ask questions, getting involved in the debate about how our council is run.
“We really value what local people have to say and are committed to listening to their views.
“I think we need to do more to reach out to people in the city and hopefully this will be the first step at improving how we engage with Sheffielders.
“As we stand up for Sheffield in these extremely challenging financial circumstances, it will be more important than ever the council gets to the heart of our communities and listens.”
