Councillors from across the Peak District met with national park planners to discuss how they can work together.
More than 50 councillors attended a ‘Vibrant Villages’ event organised by the Peak District National Park Authority and the Peak Park Parishes Forum.
Topics discussed included the Peak District cycling strategy, the national park development plan, and improving broadband and mobile connectivity.
Peak District National Park Authority chair, Coun Lesley Roberts, said: “It’s very helpful to meet people face to face and have the opportunity for debate, to find common ground on issues and have an input into things that are coming up.”
The annual event was held on Saturday.
