When Lindsay met Jess

BALBY Carr Academy pupil Lindsey McGlone had a winning day out when she came face to face with London 2012 golden girl Jessica Ennis.

Lindsey was among a group of students from across the country to meet the Sheffield sports star at the Don Valley Stadium as part of the Sky Sports Living for Sport project.

Lindsey had her hair and make-up styled by Jess’ personal stylist before recording a video for the campaign.

Lindsey was then introduced to Jess who she described as ‘extremely down to earth and inspirational’.

Lindsey was interviewed about how the project has helped her participate in PE.
