Engineering students at Barnsley College had the opportunity to look around a professional rally car.
The Ford Escort, which has been used in various professional competitions, is owned by businessman and two times RAC rally champion, Dave Hemingway.
He brought in the vehicle to give students the opportunity to look at the differences between a standard car and a rally car. Dave also talked to the students about his journey to becoming a successful professional rally driver.
Level 3 Motor Vehicle student Tom Peacock said: “I really enjoyed looking inside the car and talking to Dave. It was a great opportunity to get experience and learn more about different types of cars.”
