SHEFFIELD University is to host a citywide Festival of Science and Engineering to highlight opportunities for female students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths.
The festival at the university’s Octagon Centre on Friday, March 15, is expected to be attended by around 400 schoolgirls considering courses at university in a bid to find out more.
Sheffield MP Meg Munn is set to attend, along with University of Sheffield Professor Elena Rodriguez-Falcon, who is director of Women in Engineering.
