Enjoy music for a summer’s evening as Sheffield’s Westbourne School invites neighbours, potential pupils and families to look around.
The Broomhill co-educational independent school will open its doors for music, fizz and strawberries from 5.30pm on Thursday, June 12, as part of the annual Broomhill Festival.
As well as providing an opportunity to take a look around the school and chat to pupils and teachers, the event will also showcase the school’s many music groups, who will be playing throughout the evening.
“We are delighted to be part of the Broomhill Festival as we firmly believe Westbourne is an important part of the wider Broomhill community,” said headmaster John Hicks. “This is an extremely relaxed and informal event, a perfect opportunity for parents and children to take a look at what makes Westbourne so special.
“We are an academically non-selective school but our standards and achievements are among the highest in the city and this is a great opportunity for us to share our successes with our neighbours and prospective parents.”
