School dinner prices are set to stay static in Derbyshire

School dinner prices in Derbyshire are set to be frozen when children return in September.

Derbyshire Council is set to keep primary school prices at £1.95 and secondaries at £2.30.

Coun Kevin Gillott said: “Family budgets are being squeezed like never before so we have worked hard to keep the cost of providing meals down.”

A decision is due on Tuesday.
