School dinner prices in Derbyshire are set to be frozen when children return in September.

Derbyshire Council is set to keep primary school prices at £1.95 and secondaries at £2.30.

Coun Kevin Gillott said: “Family budgets are being squeezed like never before so we have worked hard to keep the cost of providing meals down.”

A decision is due on Tuesday.
