Public meeting takes stand against racism

South Yorkshire is set to take a stand against racism and xenophobia at a special event.

A public meeting and talk entitled Politicians, Racism and the Media: A Case to Answer, takes place at the Workstation, Paternoster Row, Sheffield city centre, on Tuesday, February 18. Speakers include Emma Briant, a lecturer in Journalism Studies at The University of Sheffield and co-author of Bad News for Refugees.

The meeting starts at 7pm. It has been organised by South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group.
