A STUDENT from Sheffield has been recognised as being among The University of Reading’s top one per cent.
Laura Moody, aged 19, from High Green, was congratulated at the Chancellor Sir John Madejski’s Award Ceremony, for students who achieved the highest results in their subject at the end of either their first or second year of study.
Laura, who is studying biomedical sciences, said: “I chose this university because, for me, Reading has the whole package - a fantastic university with excellent facilities, great night life and entertainment and a really friendly and secure atmosphere.
“My highlight of last year was definitely receiving my end-of-year results and seeing that they reflected all my hard work throughout the year.”
