THEY breastfed their own babies - and now they’re showing others how to do the same.

Fourteen women have become breastfeeding peer supporters after receiving training through Balby Children’s Centre.

NHS bosses in Doncaster are trying to get more mums breastfeeding their babies, and the volunteers will be offering information and support to pregnant women, new parents and families through local children’s centres and ‘Breast Start’ groups.

For more information call Balby Children’s Centre on 01302 570 270.
