HUNDREDS of prospective students flocked to Doncaster College’s campus for an open day to see the £65 million waterfront campus, and talk to tutors about the courses on offer at The Hub.

Heather Vann, aged 31, from Intake, who currently works in an accounts department before going on maternity leave, and wants to do a Level 2 bookkeeping course in September, said: “I want to prepare for when I return to work and get a relevant qualification.”

Heather studied Leisure and Tourism a number of years ago as a teenager, when the college was based in Waterdale, and this was her first visit to The Hub, which she described as ‘fantastic, a whole new world’.
