Sheffield’s new Labour council is urging the Government to reconsider its decision not to give Sheffield a share of £30 million funding to re-start stalled housing market renewal schemes.

Last month, it was announced that the funding was being made available for the projects to demolish and rebuild run-down streets.

However, Sheffield was not included, despite having a stalled housing market renewal scheme in Fir Vale.
