Changes are being made to the way social care services are provided for deaf or hearing-impaired people in Derbyshire.
The alterations come into force from Tuesday, May 1.
Instead of having services and teams working with people of all ages, there will be one dedicated service for adults and one for children and young people, both to be provided by Derbyshire County council.
Previously, services differed between the north and south of the county.
Coun Charles Jones, cabinet member for adult care, said people using services that will change will be kept informed by letter and there will be an opportunity for face-to-face meetings to discuss any concerns.
