Quite recently I noticed a gully on West Street, Conisbrough, spilling out stagnant water which smelt awful and was causing issues for drivers as it ran like a stream down New Hill.
I contacted the council and a team was on site within the week to dig up a small part of the road and repair a collapsed pipe.
This means we now have two gullies collecting water to reduce the chance of flooding in the future.
I doubt this will make a massive difference but I’d like to thank Doncaster Council and our three sitting Labour councillors for their support in getting this matter resolved.
