Council can rectify roundabout later

Have your say

Would someone from Sheffield council/highways please explain why after spending over a million pounds on the roundabout at Meadowhead, which was adequate anyway apart from one approach, the approach from Meadowhead has not been widened?

This was the main approach which needed attention and it has been completly left alone. Already some of the replacement kerbs have been knocked over due to wagons trying to squeeze through the inside lane.

Also when entering the roundabout from Norton and turning down Meadowhead traffic crosses the white lines to exit due to the alignment.

Possibly, there is no need to be concerned though, because like the bus gate lower down Meadowhead, Sheffield council can throw more money at it later to rectify the problem.
