HOMELESS charity Emmaus Sheffield wants to get back on the road… with the backing of a city sponsor.
The project gives formerly homeless people somewhere safe and welcoming to live as part of a working community geared towards becoming self-sufficient through social enterprise.
But the work of the charity is being severely affected by the recent theft of one of its three vans, which means all services are being seriously delayed.
“The vans provide a vital part of our working day,” said community manager Graham Bostock. “What we really need is somebody who might be able to donate us a van in roadworthy condition, which we can guarantee will be put to good use.”
Anybody able to help should call Graham on 07814 777 904.
