Could you adopt a child?

WOULD-BE adoptive parents in Sheffield are invited to attend an information evening next week.

The session will be held next Wednesday, January 23, from 5.45pm to 8pm. Call 0114 273 4601 for the location.

The evening will start with a short presentation about the kind of children who need to be adopted in Sheffield. People can then pick up information about what it’s like to adopt, and meet existing adopters to ask questions.

The sessions come as it was revealed Sheffield has 62 children in need of adoptive homes, making the city a ‘hotspot’ nationally for youngsters in care.

Alternative sessions will take place throughout the year, on March 6,■April 17,■May 29,■July 10,■September 11,■October 16,■and November 27.
