A conference centre in Sheffield is to close this July - with events planned after that date set to be cancelled.
Whirlow Grange Conference Centre on Ecclesall Road South is due to close its doors on July 31 - after 60 years.
Run by Whirlow Grange Limited, a not for profit Charitable Limited Company, the centre was used for conferencing, weddings and Christian retreats.
It also offers a nationally-renowned Spirituality Centre used by faith communities.
A spokesman for the Broad of Whirlow Grange Ltd said: “It is with great sadness that the Board of Whirlow Grange Ltd announces the closure of the Whirlow Grange Conference Centre with effect from July 31 after over 60 years of service to the faith communities of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas.
“All event bookings up to that date will be honoured. All bookings after that date will be cancelled and any deposits held will be returned in full as soon as possible.
“The work of the Spirituality Centre is expected to continue and the spirituality team will confirm arrangements for programmed events.
The Board are deeply saddened by the loss of jobs and hope that all will find new employment very soon.”
