Condolences: Tracey Liversidge

Fitness instructor Tracey Liversidge collapsed and died after suffering an aneurysm following a routine workout in the gym.

Tributes have flooded in following the death of the 43-year-old mum-of-two who suffered the fatal attack at The Valley Health and Fitness Centre at the English Institute of Sport.

Tracey, from Wincobank, had worked at EIS Sheffield since it opened in 2003. She had also achieved fame by reaching the quarter finals of the Gladiators TV show in 1993.

In her position as a fitness instructor she had helped countless members reach their goals, including remarkable cases like Jamie Sims and Paul Hollowood who shed more than eight stone between them in just 12 months.

Bodybuilding and fashion were two of her other loves, with highlights including modelling with Linda Lusardi at the former Sheffield Woolworths store, and sharing a catwalk with Lu Lu in London.
