Condolences: Brian Arnold
Brian Arnold, from Athersley, Barnsley, was found dead in Winscar Reservoir, near Penistone.
A reservoir engineer made the tragic discovery as preparation work was being carried out ahead of the start of a major training exercise involving the region's emergency services.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious.
