Condolences: 25-year-old Hillsborough man dies in smash
A 25-year-old man from Hillsborough died in a head-on collision with another car on Manchester Road, near Wharncliffe side.
It occurred half a mile from the junction of More Hall Lane on Manchester Road at 8.12pm.
A blue Audi A3 travelling towards Deepcar is believed to have crossed over the road and collided head on with a blue Astra car coming in the opposite direction from Wharncliffe Side. The Astra was pushed into a boundary barrier.
The 25-year-old Astra driver, from Hillsborough, died as a result of the accident.
