Condolences: Tiffany Auld

Tiffany Auld, aged 13, died after stepping from behind an ice cream van into the path of another vehicle, believe police.

Tiffany, of Milton Road, Hoyland, suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead just over an hour later at Barnsley District General Hospital.

She was due to sleepover with three other girls at pal Courtney Draisey's home in nearby Millhouses Street – where tragedy struck just after 6pm last night.

Friends have covered the garden fence in floral tributes, toys, sympathy cards and notes.

How very sad,to lose a child is indescribable...prayers said for Tiffany and her heartbroken family and friends,RIP Tiffany.

Katrina Dyer,Jump, Barnsley

Tiffany was such a bright, bubbly, beautiful girl and i feel privilaged to have known her. She attended dance classes with both my son Jared and my daughter Caitlin and they are both heartbroken. Even though there was a 6 year age gap Caitlin still thought of Tiff as one of her best friends.

Tiffany will be very sadly missed by all who knew her and she will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts go out to her family.

Rest in peace Tiffany x

my daughter Olivia attended the dance classes where Tiffany was one of the dance instructor helpers and i must say i have never met such a happy, smiley teenager. It really is a special someone who can cope with a class of around 20 four to six year olds and not only get them to do as you say but to get their adoration. The class were devastated saturday when we heard the news. All our love is sent to her family at this time. God has taken a very special angel from us and as many have said prior to this, we are so very priviledged to have known such a beautiful, talented, thoughtful and caring girl. may she rest in peace

god bless Tiffany- you will be so missed .

i love you Miss Tiffany, go and dance with the angels from Olivia White ( age 5)
