Condolences: Kevin Quirke

Kevin Quirke, aged 49, died during a three-day siege at his Sheffield home.

The father-of-three was found dead inside his flat on Overend Road, Gleadless Valley, with a gun by his side.

Police had forced their way in to try to bring the stand-off to an end, after negotiators were unable to make contact.

Mr Quirke's family said he had suffered a breakdown two years ago following his father's death and should have been offered help for mental health problems months ago.
