Condolences: Dr Rhoden and Dr Phipps
Dr Walter Rhoden, aged 47, and his GP wife Kathryn Phipps, 45, who have three children aged under 17, were killed after being thrown from their motorbike in Orlando, Florida.
Walter, a well-known consultant cardiologist in Barnsley, and Kathy, a GP based in Wath, who live in Hoyland, Barnsley, are thought to have died at the scene.
Walter was a consultant cardiologist at Barnsley General Hospital where he had worked for almost 15 years.
His wife Kathryn, known as Kathy, was a GP at Woodgrove Surgery in Wath and was very active within the Primary Care Trust.
