Concern over missing Sheffield man

Police are searching for a Rotherham man missing from home for 10 days.

Hassan Siddique, aged 26, left his house in Broom Valley Road, Rotherham, at 6pm on Saturday, March 8 and although there have been some ‘sporadic’ sightings of him since then he has not returned home.

He is not believed to have taken any belongings with him, including his mobile phone or money.

Mr Siddique, who is known to be a regular visitor to Pitsmoor in Sheffield, is 5ft 8ins tall and of a large build.

He wears glasses, speaks with a Yorkshire accent and has black hair and a black beard.

When he was last seen, Mr Siddique was wearing beige trousers, a blue top and a black hooded jacket.

Inspector Matt Collings, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “While there have been some sporadic sightings of Mr Siddique in Sheffield in recent days, we are very keen to locate him and confirm he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information on Mr Siddique’s whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 303 of March 10, 2014.
