Grants of up to £10,000 are being offered by South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Shaun Wright to help community groups to tackle crime.
The money is available for grassroots organisations to address policing priorities in the county, including reducing anti-social behaviour, preventing reoffending and protecting the vulnerable.
The money is for non-profit-making voluntary and community organisations.
Commissioner Shaun Wright said: “I welcome this second round of bids, aimed at one-off projects and crime prevention, from producing leaflets on safety measures to buying anti-vandal paint or door locks.”
Forms are available to download via www.southyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk before May 13.
