A £10,000 grant awarded to Rotherham Talking Newspapers will help keep it going for at least another two years, according to its coordinator.

The charity, which provides more than 400 visually impaired and disabled people with access to audio news, was given the grant by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.

Roy Beachill said: “Thanks to the Coalfields Regeneration Trust we are now in a stronger financial position that will help to keep us going for at least another two years.”
