DETERMINED climbers raised over £4,500 for charity by scaling the heights of Mount Everest twice - without leaving Sheffield!

Lawyer Andrew Smith and IT technician Scott Flower, from Irwin Mitchell, took on a seven-metre high climbing wall in Barker’s Pool around 500 times, matching the height of the giant Himalayan mountain.

They planned to complete the two-day challenge in 30 hours, but finished in 11 - so they did it again.

Andrew and Scott were raising money for Amy’s House, Sheffield Young Carers and Help for Heroes.
