Seeing how houses could be built on the Dyson works in the countryside reminds me of the site in Dronfield which was developed into a Sainsbury’s store.
Is it not time for the councils to get their stupid thinking cap on.
Any land brought forward for industry on the promise of jobs for the area, should have a clawback clause inserted into it.
Should the land later become housing the council should be allowed to take 50 per cent uplift or a larger percentage as affordable housing.
