A SHEFFIELD pub is set to rock later this month when Britain’s best Clash tribute band take to the stage to remember a 17-year-old local lad who lost his life on holiday in Zante.
Punk tribute legends The Clashed are to take a break from their nationwide tour to play at Mattfest - a music festival in memory of Killamarsh teenager Matt Cryer, born and bred in Frecheville, who was pushed down a flight of stairs to his death on the Greek Isle club bouncers in 2008.
The event will be staged at the Birley Hotel on Sunday, September 25.
The all day festival will feature a number of entertainers perform on an outside stage and organisers promise there will be plenty going on inside the pub too.
A host of DJs including Fat Piggy MC and big Tony Cronshaw will also perform in the event.
