Have your say

Did our parents fight Hitler, so that groups of people could be vilified and scapegoated for all that’s wrong with a country all over again?

During the Second World War our parents didn’t flee the bombs to another land, but Britain, (apart from the Channel Islands), was never occupied, so we didn’t experience, (and have never experienced in anyone’s living memory), the full horror and terror of repression, torture, rape and heaven knows what else.

I am not in favour of unlimited economic migration but refugees are another matter.
