It was good to see the picture and article about Peter Stringfellow, a well-known character on the Sheffield scene.
I really do have to point out to the journalist, however, that the Central Technical School was towards West Street and the buildings above which border Holly Street and Leopold Street were formally The City Grammar School, the only coeducational grammar in the city of Sheffield.
Somehow in the planning and reorganisation of these fabulous biuldings, the school which Roy Hattersley and others attended has been sadly ignored.
