A PAIR of horses owned by a Sheffield businesswoman have galloped to success in two shows.

Clare Blaskey’s five-year-old horse Blue Chip Forever took home first prize in the best-trained category at the British Showhorse National Championships, held at Addington in Buckinghamshire.

Clare – who runs a horse feed company based on Ecclesall Road – rode the horse.

In winning the coveted rosette, Blue Chip Forever stepped into the horseshoes of his older stablemate, I’m Blue Chip Too.

His 16-year-old pal wasn’t to be outdone, picking up the champion veteran award at the Bowes Show in County Durham.

Clare, who lives in Matlock, donated her prize money to Rosalind Fifield, rode in the best-trained category in fancy dress to raise money for research into muscular dystrophy.
