A SOUTH Yorkshire church is looking for donations of unwanted hand tools – to be used by needy people in African countries.
The appeal comes from St Andrew’s Church in Penistone which is supporting the charity Tools for Self Reliance.
Its workers also provide training in using the tools along with business start-up support.
Tools should be brought to the church on Penistone High Street, next to the library, on Saturday February 11, between 10am and 12 noon. Spades, carpentry, plumbing, metalwork tools, shoe repair tools, anvils, blacksmith tools are all welcome.
