Newburgh Engineering trainee Chloe Jones has been named winner of the Rotherham Young Apprentice Programme.
Chloe. from Thorpe Hesley, is one of a number of apprentices taking part in the New Era apprentice training programme, set up by Rotherham-based Newburgh Engineering, Brinsworth Training and Air Accessories.
The programme was set up in response to employers’ concerns about a lack of the comprehensive, hi-tech training needed to give young people the skills their companies need and is designed to create a highly skilled breed of young engineers.
Chloe received her award at Brinsworth College, from Marie Boswell on behalf of the Rotherham Young Apprentice Programme.
