A CHESTERFIELD Royal Mail worker has been cracking nuts to help raise awareness of cancer.

For every £5 donated to Prostate Cancer UK, Duncan Codling, head of pensions and severance at Royal Mail’s Chesterfield site, pounded a nut with a sledgeghammer.

Duncan said: “I was delighted to join Prostate Cancer UK’s nut cracking team to help ‘crack’ the tough nut that is prostate cancer.

“This was a fun way of raising awareness of a serious disease.”

Royal Mail has already raised more than £450,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
