A CHEF has proved her impeccable taste - by keeping her Michelin star for the 14th year running.
Tessa Bramley - along with the likes of Raymond Blanc and Alain Roux - is one of only 11 chefs in Britain to have held a Michelin star for so long.
Her restaurant The Old Vicarage in Ridgeway village near Sheffield has been part of the prestigious Michelin Guide to Great Britain since 1999, and she was invited to attend the launch of the 100th anniversary of the guide.
She said: “This is wonderful news for The Old Vicarage. To be in such a select group of chefs in Britain holding a Michelin star for so long is also fantastic.
“It’s a real honour for me, my restaurant and for the area.”
