A woman accusing Ched Evans of rape told police officers she woke up naked in a hotel room after a night out.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has had her recorded police interviews played to jurors at Cardiff Crown Court today.
Ched Evans, aged 27, is on trial accused of raping the 19-year-old in a hotel room in North Wales in May 2011.
Jurors were told yesterday that his alleged victim was 'heavily intoxicated' and could not consent to sex.
Evans, who plays for League One side Chesterfield, is facing a retrial after a conviction in 2012 was later quashed.
Today, jurors have been played videos of the alleged victim's police interviews from May and July 2011.
In them, the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police officers that she went to a bar with friends in Rhyl and had some drinks.
She said she remembered dancing, but has little recollection of anything afterwards.
She said she could 'vaguely' remember going to a kebab shop but next remembers waking up naked in a hotel room.
The woman said she was 'really shaken up' and that she had 'panicked' when she found her clothes scattered around the bed in the Premier Inn room.
“I was just dead confused about how I got there. I didn’t know how I’d got there or who I’d gone with. I was really shaken up by it," she said.
Test results revealed traces of cocaine and cannabis in the woman's system.
She told officers she had tried cocaine a few weeks before the night in the hotel room and that she had tried cannabis one of two weeks before.
The trial continues.
