IF you’ve shopped at B&M bargains recently check your bank account.
A processing error means shoppers may have been charged up to five times.
A spokesman for B&M said: “We discovered on August 23 some people had experienced multiple duplication of card transactions. Refund instructions for this fault were made immediately the same day.
“Those refunds are now being processed by your card company and will take effect today or within two working days depending on your card company’s own processes.
“We are extremely sorry for this incidence. If you have experienced bank charges as result of the error, please send details to our head office in writing and we will reimburse you.”
B&M has three stores in Sheffield, two in Rotherham and one in Barnsley.
