A tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris will be held in Sheffield city centre tomorrow.
Hundreds of people are expected to turn out at Barker’s Pool at 3pm for a service of commemoration and solidarity for those killed in the terrorist attack in France which left 12 dead.
The event will ‘reflect on the lives’ of those killed and injured and celebrate their work.
A Sheffield Council spokesman said: “This event has the full backing of the council and the Lord Mayor and the leader of the council are due to be in attendance; MPs will be invited, and we hope for a good turnout from the public.
“Speakers will be from a variety of backgrounds and will represent a variety of beliefs and ideals.”
