Charity walk for children

TV PRESENTER and former Sheffield schoolgirl Julia Bradbury is urging South Yorkshire walkers to put their best feet forward in a campaign to end child cruelty.

The keen walker, who lived in North Derbyshire as a child, wants locals to sign up to the NSPCC's 25-mile HACK – Hike Against Cruelty to Children in the Yorkshire Dales on September 5. Registration costs 15.

Visit www.nspcc.org.uk/hack or call the appeals office on 0113 2299313 to sign up.
