A NATIONAL charity is appealing for Sheffield volunteers to lend struggling pet owners a helping hand.
The Cinnamon Trust was formed to support the elderly and terminally ill keep ownership of their pets.
“We seek to keep owners and pets together by assisting those who may be struggling,” said Sally from Cinnamon Trust.
“That could mean walking a dog for a housebound owner, fostering pets when the owners need hospital care, buying dog or cat food for them, or simply cleaning out a bird cage.
“We’re particularly seeking volunteers for the Heeley and Hemsworth areas and if you can only spare one hour a week, it would be much appreciated.”
