Charity’s live debate for four hopefuls in PCC election races

Charity Victim Support is hosting a live debate with the candidates fighting to be the next South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

The hustings takes place at The Source Skills Academy next Thursday, October 23. The charity wants to ensure services are improved.

A by-election will take place on October 30 after former PCC Shaun Wright stood down in the wake of the Rotherham sex abuse scandal.

Four candidates are in the running to take the job, across the Labour, Conservative, UKIP and English Democrat parties.
