Hungry diners in Sheffield raised over £3,400 for Cavendish Cancer Care at a charity gourmet food evening.
Some 100 guests were treated to a high-class menu that included chicken liver, herb-crusted hake with a lemon and herb risotto and Moss Valley Farm pork belly.
The evening was managed by Peter Lightfoot, head chef at The Devonshire Cat on Wellington Street, Sheffield.
Cavendish Cancer Care fundraiser, Jonny Cole, said: “We’d like to thank everybody that came along, all of the generous suppliers and, of course, all the staff at Abbeydale Brewery and The Devonshire Cat.
“This money will help us to support a further 100 local families affected by cancer.”
Cavendish Cancer Care is a local charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in our region.
