CHILDREN’S cancer charity Amy’s Retreat is selling reindeer food in The Star shop, York Street, Sheffield.

The idea behind the colourful packages is to spread a bit of magic this Christmas.

The sparkling reindeer food is for children to sprinkle on their garden on Christmas Eve so Santa and his reindeers can come and deliver presents.

The reindeer parcels are made by charity trustees as well as a group of volunteers.

Each one costs £1 and all profits go to Amy’s Retreat, which was set up in memory of Amy Hall who died from cancer at the age of five.

The charity helps families with children suffering or recovering from cancer.
