Schools in Sheffield are being urged to sign up for a non-uniform day with a dance-inspired twist.
Macmillan Cancer Support is calling upon teachers and pupils to take part in its new Dress Up and Dance challenge to help raise cash for people with cancer.
The new event is aimed at primary schools and will see school pupils across the UK wearing their favourite outfit to school on June 21 and taking part in a dance, with a suggested routine provided by Macmillan.
Rob Turner, said: “We think Dress Up and Dance is a really fun event that kids will love. It’s all about kids having some fun, moving around, trying something new and at the same time raising a bit of money for charity.”
