Lifelong Rotherham United fan Peter Maw has received backing from club chairman Tony Stewart ahead of a 700-mile charity bike ride.

Peter and pals Hossein Yazdi and Ken Stainthorpe will set off in September in aid of North Anston’s Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Wales High School teacher Peter is looking to give back to the hospice that cared for his daughter Natalie, who lost her two-year battle with cancer last year, aged 12.
