The 44-year-old German supermodel is releasing a new "high-end" fashion range - with budget supermarket Lidl.

Klum, who is one of the highest-paid models in the world, has made a range which is "accessible for everyone," according to the German supermarket.

Speaking about her foray into fashion design, Klum said: “Lidl is known for making quality products at affordable prices and I’m proud to partner with them on this fashion collaboration.

"I had so much fun designing the pieces in this collection and can’t wait for you to see it. I hope you love it as much as I do!"

Lidl said Klum's new range "mirrors her characteristic style".

Ryan McDonnell, Lidl’s UK commercial director, said it would be the retailer’s “most premium fashion to date”

Will Harwood, a spokesman for Lidl, added: "She’s an international fashion icon. She's extremely passionate, creating incredible fashion that is high end, but also attainable and it worked really well with what we do.

"We’re very focused at delivering top quality and great prices. She integrates with that really well."

It's not the first time Klum has turned her hand to fashion designing. The America's Got Talent host has previously designed for brands such as Victoria's Secret, Jordache jeans and Birkenstock.

She's also made cameo appearances in films including The Devils Wears Prada, and TV shows such Sex and the City.

Klum's fashion line will launch across the UK, Europe and America later this year.
