Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver cooks up a feast in car park. GALLERY

CELEBRITY chef Jamie Oliver helped to stave off halftime hunger at Rotherham United's Millmoor on Saturday.

The TV favourite was in town to promote his Ministry of Food, Rotherham and decided to reach out to the masses at the club's home game against Barnet.

After a short speech on the pitch during halftime, Jamie took to the car park to cook up a feast.

The Ministry of Food, Rotherham is Jamie's brainchild to get the whole of the town cooking tasty, healthy food. Once fully up and running, it is hoped the ministry, based in a council-owned building in All Saints Square, will provide a recipe, skills and advice exchange. Experienced and competent cooks are being encouraged to register their details with the ministry so they can be paired up with self-confessed kitchen nightmares.
