A CARE home in Sheffield organised a range of activities to mark International Older People’s Day.
Staff from Eagle House on Stalker Lees Road, Sharrow Vale, organised a reminiscence session, a beetle drive, and karaoke in the garden.
All money raised was donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Manager Jason Axford said: “We know the older people we work with had, and continue to have, a positive impact on community life in Sheffield.
“We were keen to mark International Older People’s Day, a celebration of the achievements and contributions older people make.
“Activities are important because they help stimulate residents mentally and physically and, of course, are fun.”
